Congratulations to Ms. Herman for winning the Christian Witness Award at Faith Day's this year! We are so proud of you and all you do for Assumption School! Ms. Herman has a strong, joyful, quiet presence, approaching each day with grace. She generously shares her love, affection, talents and kind words with others creating an environment where her students are wrapped in a spirit of respect, belonging, and love – showing them that they are not only welcome but needed in her classroom. On a daily basis, kids are checking in, and telling Ms. Herman what is going on in their lives, seeking out a hug or reassurance. That really says it all. Ms. Herman is a witness of love for all our students. Working behind the scenes, mentoring, inspiring others and setting a clear vision, she nourishes the physical well-being of our students in her involvement and development of our extra-curricular programs. Being the heart of connection, she realizes we are a part of a greater community, and actively seeks to build connections with the community to ensure that the school successfully meets the mission of service to God’s children. She has seamlessly taken on the role as our Faith Leader, consistently leverages outside resources, parents, and colleagues to support our school. She is at the heart of our school leading and loving our kiddos.

Basketball practise is cancelled tonight!

BACON pick up is now on Wednesday vs Thursday at Assumption School! From 2pm - 4pm. Every box has to be gone by 4pm we realize this is tricky with you working but we don't have fridge space to store at school. Please touch base with Renee Tye if you can't pick up during this time frame. Parents please pick up your orders and deliver to your buyers! Thank you to everyone who supported this amazing fundraiser!

Today is Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. As we begin this season of self-denial, prayer, fasting and almsgiving let us take time to lift up in prayer all our Assumption students, their families and our church community. #IBelieveinCatholicEd
