The Church is having a Parish Picnic Potluck this Sunday, August 30! Everyone is welcome!! Note time change of mass 10:30 at Sacred Heart in Oyen! There will be games and 3 legged races following picnic bring your young families!

Core Compass is opening a daycare at Assumption School! Please send your resume to the email on the poster or phone if you have any questions! The daycare is for ages 1-5 years old. (No before or after school care program being offered)

Tomorrow, Tuesday June 23rd we celebrate our Assumption Grade 6 students & say farewell as they pass their light down to the grade 5 class! We also recognize all our students on the stage and host our annual Awards ceremony! This YEAR we are trying something different Parent Council is providing a Dessert Buffet vs a Potluck! Parents you can just come enjoy and help us celebrate! EVERYONE is WELCOME!

Our whole Assumption school grades 1-6 got to experience Rosebuds Theatre 🎭 Anne of Green Gables on Friday!! Such an amazing drama experience meeting actors, behind stage experience! Thank you to our Parent Council who made this happen 🙌 and all our parent drivers! ❤️

Assumption grade 5/6 overnight field trip was a huge success! They explored Cypress and Fort Walsh! Canoeing, archery, basketball, pond study, and frisbee golf! Thank you to all the parents who helped make this happen!

Enjoy the read... we are sliding into SUMMER!!! Thank you to all our parents who have helped get our students to field trips, volunteered in track booth and been apart of parent council this year! In a short month we have had a lot of fun and learning! See it all inside our June Newsletter!

The Pen Pal program has concluded. Throughout the year, the grade 3/4 class at Assumption eagerly anticipated receiving batches of letters. We extend our gratitude to Pam and Mary Anne at FCSS for developing this mentorship initiative. The students at Assumption loved it!

The grade 1-4 classes had an educational field trip to the Royal Tyrrell Museum for a fossil finding mission & a tour of the Atlas Coal Mine processing plant! Thank you to all our parent drivers for helping us get the students safely there and back!

Congratulations to Ezlyn & Ella who celebrated their First Communion on Sunday! Thank you to Jarvis for teaching this special Sacrament 🙏! Congrats girls!

Congratulations to Freya McBain & Prince Alole for winning overall top points grade 6 girls and boys! Marguerite Fernandez and Tyler Paetz high point winners for grade 4 girls and boys for the whole track and field day 🙌👏!! Way to go Assumption!
