Christ The Redeemer (CTR) Catholic Schools will be welcoming Lora Jeffries to Assumption Roman Catholic Schools in August 2025. Congratulations to Lora Jeffries who has accepted a teaching position with Christ the Redeemer (CTR) Catholic Schools at Assumption School in Oyen starting in August 2025. Lora is a graduate of Medicine Hat College who is very familiar with rural life as she was raised on a farm near Kindersley and will be starting a life in Marengo in the fall. She is familiar with complex classroom needs and has high expectations of herself to be the best she can be. Lora shares, “I’m really excited for this amazing opportunity to work in Oyen. I look forward to bringing my skill set to the school and being a part of such a welcoming community.”

Christ The Redeemer (CTR) Catholic Schools invites applications for the temporary position of Principal at Assumption School, a Kindergarten to Grade 6 school located in the town of Oyen. This school is committed to academic excellence in a safe and caring, faith-based environment. This position begins mid-August 2025. The successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic who is active in their faith and faith leadership and will have exhibited the qualities required of a Catholic school leader. She or he will foster an environment where high quality academic education is provided in a safe, caring, Catholic setting.
