BBQ time!! Tomorrow at 5:30 we invite all our families to our annual Welcome Back BBQ hosted by the teachers! You get the night off cooking! Tour your child's classroom, meet their teachers and most important enjoy visiting with neighbors and friends! (If you can make the Parent Council meeting before hand it begins at 3:30). See you tomorrow night!

Assumption School 2022/2023 Award winners and grade 6 Farwell! Congratulations!

Thank you to our hot lunch mamas Kristen and Kelli, our parent coaches Marcy, Warren, Gina, nicki, Bailey, Ms Herman and congratulations to Nadine Rude for winning the Christ Redeemer Parent of Distinction Award 👏! Well deserved for her countless hours of volunteering at our school throughout the years! A thousand thank yous to all our parent volunteers on our parent council and Friends of Assumption executive you are one dedicated group of moms helping our students get all the extras! We couldn’t do all the things without your support! ❤️ These ARC students are moving on up! 🙌 congratulations 🎉!

Tonight we say Farewell to these 3 beautiful grade 6 girls…Gracelyn, Sadie and Harper! They will be passing down the light to the grade 5’s! Join us at 6pm for our annual Yearend potluck where we celebrate all of our students! Everyone is welcome!!

This morning is Valentines for all our students in the prayer garden at 9am. Parents are welcome to join and tonight is Yearend potluck & grade 6 Farewell! (see details and food assignment below)!! Hope to see you in the gym tonight invite grandma/grandpa, aunties and uncles!! It’s time to celebrate our year and ALL our students!!

St. Therese, Faith Retreat what an experience. To watch these ladies grow in their faith and continue on their faith journey is beautiful to witness. May the Lord Bless you and Keep You; May the Lord make his face Shine upon you and be gracious to YOU and give you peace🙏!

Assumption Field Trip to Barney’s!!

Assumption's last newsletter of the year! We are blessed with many memories over the past month and more to come in June! Find out what's happening at Assumption!

Assumption students who made the Top 20 was Ethan Kulyk and Harper Caskey! 👏🎉Congratulations to all the students honoured at the Doorpost Café on Friday, June 9th at St. Francis of Assisi Academy. Eighteen students shared their beautiful words in front of family and friends. Their writing pieces along with other student writing from across the division will be included in CTR’s published 2023 Tablets and Doorpost Anthology.

All Assumption library books are now due for yearend! Please return any library books you may have at home back to the school!

To see the seniors and kids playing games together is fantastic! Some residents just came to watch while others got right into the mix. Playing Jenga, cards, stack a cup & egg races. The kids loved going into the jail too. What a great day!

Thank you to all our grandparents for joining us on Grand Friends Day!! We wrapped the year up with coffee, cake and a song to say THANK YOU for making a difference!
