Mini Volleyball Series has begun, thank you to OPS, Warren Peers and New Brigden for coming to Assumption School to play Volleyball! The students improved so much throughout the day it was fun to watch all of them!

The Oyen & District Curling Club is hosting a Junior Curling Clinic on Nov. 9 and 16, from 4:00 to 6:00 each day. Grade 4 and up are welcome - cost is $30.00/participant - please bring inside shoes. Kindergarten students are working on their stories in Writers Workshop, in literacy we found letters m and n in our nursery rhymes and explored our sense of sight in science.

There is nothing like family gathering! A salute to our Assumption grandparents, each month we show our students you are never to old to play! Grandparents Day kicked off on Monday and you can see from the smiles on everyone’s faces what this day brings! ❤️ PURE JOY!!

All week we looked for ways to show our gratitude and be thankful at Assumption School! We ended our week with a living Rosary where we sat in private prayer reflecting on all the beautiful things God has surrounded us with! Blessed 😇 🙏! #IBelieveinCatholicEd We wish you all an abundance of blessings on this Thanksgiving weekend. Reminder: There will be no school on Monday, Oct. 10 for Thanksgiving Day!
