Kindergarten field trip! We learned about the fire station, the police station and the Bank! Thank you to everyone who helped in our community make this possible!

I’m a BIG kid now!! Teddy Bear picnic at Assumption! Trial day for kinders to go to grade 1, pre k’s to go for the whole day to kindergarten and Our new pre k students who come in the fall were all welcomed to Assumption for a day! These little ones are excited for next year!

Thank you to Mrs. Andrea Thornton and the Oyen lodge for inviting our students on a seniors picnic and outdoor games! Some of our students finally met their pen pals they have been writing to all throughout Covid a very special moment! So much fun connecting and building relationships!

Batter up … Happy Fathers Day to all our amazing dads! Assumptions annual dads vs kids ball game was on last night and I think the kids won ⚾️😂🤩🙌!

Thank you to all our grandparents who came out this morning to Grandparent’s Day! This mentorship program has been a huge success, grandparents you are an important part of our Assumption family! Have a fantastic summer!

CTR Catholic is pleased to announce the recipients of the St. Joseph Parent of Distinction Award. The award recognizes an individual who demonstrates the ability to promote parental engagement and involvement in the Catholic education system. Truly exceptional in their dedication and initiative, this individual has dynamic leadership qualities and encourages opportunity to influence student learning success in the school community. Award winners are Heather Baldwin, Notre Dame Collegiate in High River; Kathy Resch, Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Academy in Canmore; Andrea Thornton, Assumption RC in Oyen; Julie Trotter Holy Trinity Academy in Okotoks; and Dallas Wagner, Holy Family Academy in Brooks. The award winners were honored at the Council of School Councils meeting held May 18 at the Catholic Education Centre in Okotoks. Thank you to these special parents and all our parents for your commitment to Catholic education!

Thank you Mrs Rolheiser for bringing in a hot breakfast for grade 5/6 class! Today they write their first PAT! ❤️🙏 Believe in yourself!
